Test if a site is reachable and quickly review the response status and timing.

How does it work?

SiteIndex's server checks the site directly (avoiding browser CORS limits) and reports the status code, response time, and full redirect chain. The Advanced panel adds repeat timing samples to help distinguish a one-off slowdown from a consistent problem.

When to use it

Check whether a site is down for everyone or just for you.
Confirm a site recovered after an outage or deployment.
Spot a slow or unstable response before customers report it.

Inputs and outputs

Input: A public website, domain, or network value required by the check.
Output: A result shown in the browser that can be reviewed or copied where supported.

Limitations

Results depend on the input, browser, network, and external service involved.
This tool is informational and does not replace specialist diagnostics.

Privacy and data handling
