Privacy
SiteIndex does not require an account. Browser-side formatters, converters, generators, and PDF tools perform their core processing locally. Remote previews, network checks, and optional third-party analytics are separate from that processing; review each tool's disclosure before using sensitive data.
Website, DNS, HTTP, SSL, headers, availability, and audit tools need network access. They send the public target required for the requested check to a SiteIndex endpoint or the relevant public service. These tools reject local and private network targets where applicable.
Optional Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity session analytics, Vercel Analytics, and configured advertising load only after acceptance. Tool events describe tool names, actions, and broad results, not input contents. Clarity can observe page interactions; tool workspaces are marked for content masking. This is not an absolute confidentiality guarantee. Hosting and external providers receive technical connection information, and network diagnostic error logs may include public targets, IP addresses, and error details. Do not include secrets in URLs or network targets.
Essential cookies are limited to the minimum needed for the site to function. Optional analytics and advertising-related tracking remain disabled unless a user accepts them. Do not submit secrets or confidential information to a network tool. Review the result and tool-specific limitations before relying on it.
OCR processes images in browser workers but downloads engine and language assets. Browser speech services may send audio or text to the browser provider. Currency lookup sends the selected base currency, not the entered amount. The wheel saves choices and Website Score saves per-domain score history in browser storage until cleared. Speed tests send generated test bytes; optional numeric speed metrics are sent only after acceptance. Requested remote images and network targets still receive connection information when optional tracking is rejected.
