Review your public connection quality in one view with IP detection, latency, and speed checks.

What does it do?

Review your public connection quality in one view with IP detection, latency, and speed checks.

How does it work?

SiteIndex checks your public IP, HTTP latency, and download/upload throughput in one run. The Advanced panel can additionally look up the approximate location and ISP behind your detected IP.

When to use it
  • Get a one-click overview of your connection before a call or upload.
  • Diagnose whether a slow experience is your network or a specific site.
  • Confirm your ISP and approximate location for a support ticket.
Inputs and outputs
Input
A public website, domain, or network value required by the check.
Output
A result shown in the browser that can be reviewed or copied where supported.
Limitations
  • Results depend on the input, browser, network, and external service involved.
  • This tool is informational and does not replace specialist diagnostics.
Privacy and data handling

The requested public target is sent to SiteIndex only as needed to perform the check. SiteIndex does not require an account or intentionally store the target as a report. See the Privacy Policy for analytics and retention details. Read the Privacy Policy.

How to use it

  1. Start the check to gather your public IP, latency, and connection-speed signals.
  2. Review the summary and compare the latency and speed values.
  3. Open the location or ISP details only when you need them for troubleshooting.
  4. Re-run the check under similar conditions to compare a network change.
