What is SVG to PNG Converter?

Upload or paste SVG markup, preview it, adjust output size, and export a PNG locally in the browser.

How it works

SVG markup is loaded as an image and painted on a browser canvas, then exported as PNG. Choose output width, optional height/aspect preservation, and background fill before rendering.

Common uses
  • Rasterize a self-contained vector icon for a PNG-only destination.
  • Export an SVG with a chosen background fill.
Limitations
  • Malformed SVG, unsupported browser SVG features, missing external assets, or unavailable fonts may render differently or fail.
  • This is rasterization, not an SVG sanitizer or optimizer. Inspect output dimensions and use only SVG you trust.
Frequently asked questions
Why are fonts or external images missing?
SVG image rendering restricts external resources and depends on locally available fonts. Make the SVG self-contained and inspect the result.
Does PNG remain vector artwork?
No. PNG stores pixels at the chosen dimensions; retain the SVG original for future scaling.
