Check domain availability, status, and structure in a simple browser-based validator.

What does it do?

Check domain availability, status, and structure in a simple browser-based validator.

How does it work?

SiteIndex validates that a domain or URL is well-formed and publicly routable, then the Advanced panel can query public RDAP registration data for the registrar, creation date, and expiry date.

When to use it
  • Confirm a domain address is valid before publishing or sharing it.
  • Check a domain's registrar and expiry date before it lapses.
  • Review registration status flags for a domain you manage or are evaluating.
Inputs and outputs
Input
A public website, domain, or network value required by the check.
Output
A result shown in the browser that can be reviewed or copied where supported.
Limitations
  • Results depend on the input, browser, network, and external service involved.
  • This tool is informational and does not replace specialist diagnostics.
Privacy and data handling

The requested public target is sent to SiteIndex only as needed to perform the check. SiteIndex does not require an account or intentionally store the target as a report. See the Privacy Policy for analytics and retention details. Read the Privacy Policy.

How to use it

  1. Enter the domain name or public URL you want to check.
  2. Run validation and review the normalized domain and public registration details.
  3. Check registrar and date fields when the registry exposes them.
  4. Use DNS Lookup or SSL Checker if you also need to inspect how the domain is configured.
