CSS Button Generator

Design a CSS button with a live preview, then copy its HTML and CSS. Try pill or square presets before tuning the details.

Guide

Interactive workspace

No account required

100% in-browser. Styles and labels are not uploaded.

Live preview: hover or use Tab to inspect focus.

Includes a 44px minimum height and keyboard focus state. Check foreground/background contrast and focus visibility in your real layout; generated styles alone do not establish accessibility compliance.

How to use it

  1. Choose an example or corner preset, then enter a label.
  2. Adjust hex colors, padding, font size, and corner radius.
  3. Inspect hover and keyboard focus, check contrast, then copy CSS and HTML.
What is CSS Button Generator?

Style a button with live colors, spacing, corners, hover, and keyboard focus, then copy CSS and HTML.

How it works

Validate hex colors and numeric dimensions, build a scoped CSS class, and render it on a native button. Include hover and keyboard focus states and a 44px minimum height.

Common uses
  • Prototype a call-to-action style without a build step.
  • Compare square and pill-shaped button treatments.
  • Create a native button style with visible keyboard focus.
Limitations
  • Results depend on the browser, network, input, and external service involved.
  • This tool is informational and does not replace specialist diagnostics or professional advice.
Frequently asked questions
Does the output need a CSS framework?
No. The generated class uses ordinary CSS and the HTML uses a native button element with type button.
Are the generated colors automatically accessible?
No. Check text/background contrast and focus visibility in your actual layout with the related Color Contrast Checker. A focus style alone does not establish compliance.
Can I paste arbitrary CSS into the fields?
No. Color fields accept six-digit hexadecimal values and dimension fields accept bounded numbers, so generated styles stay predictable.
