What is Case Converter?

Convert text to upper, lower, title, camel, or snake case in your browser.

How it works

Upper/lower modes apply JavaScript case conversion. Title, camel, and snake modes lowercase the input, split it into ASCII alphanumeric words, and join or capitalize those words.

Common uses
  • Prepare an ASCII variable name from a short label.
  • Change paragraph capitalization without uploading the text.
Limitations
  • Title, camel, and snake modes discard non-ASCII letters and punctuation; they are not language-aware title-casing tools.
Frequently asked questions
Why did accented letters disappear?
Word-based modes tokenize only ASCII letters and digits. Use upper/lower mode when you need to retain the original characters.
