JSON to CSV Documentation

Use the free JSON to CSV →

Convert JSON arrays into CSV tables for easy import into spreadsheets and data tools.

What does it do?

Convert JSON arrays into CSV tables for easy import into spreadsheets and data tools.

How does it work?

Read a JSON array, single object, NDJSON, or wrapped array response. Field names define CSV columns. Nested-object flattening and formula neutralisation are enabled by default; array representation and other export options are configurable.

When to use it
  • Export object rows with different sets of fields into a common table.
  • Preserve nested details as JSON strings within CSV cells.
Inputs and outputs
Input
Text, files, or values entered in the browser, depending on the tool.
Output
A result shown in the browser that can be reviewed or copied where supported.
Limitations
  • CSV does not retain JSON types; review missing and null cells for your import workflow.
  • Formula neutralisation is enabled by default but can be disabled. Review untrusted data and spreadsheet import settings.
  • JavaScript JSON numeric precision applies before CSV serialization.
Privacy and data handling

Inputs for this browser-side tool are processed locally and are not sent to SiteIndex. Normal page analytics may still be collected as described in the Privacy Policy. Read the Privacy Policy.

How to use it

  1. Paste a JSON array, single object, NDJSON, or wrapped array response.
  2. Choose delimiter, nested-object flattening, array handling, and formula neutralisation options.
  3. Review the CSV and copy or download it. Keep formula neutralisation enabled for untrusted spreadsheet data.
