Image Resizer Documentation

Use the free Image Resizer →

Resize JPG, PNG, and WebP images locally with aspect-ratio locking, presets, and export-quality controls.

What does it do?

Resize JPG, PNG, and WebP images locally with aspect-ratio locking, presets, and export-quality controls.

How does it work?

SiteIndex resizes each selected image locally using the canvas API. One-click social presets (Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn) set common target dimensions instantly, and multiple images are processed and downloaded in one batch.

When to use it
  • Resize an image to a common social media post size in one click.
  • Batch-resize multiple images to the same dimensions at once.
  • Convert an image to a different format while resizing.
Inputs and outputs
Input
Text, files, or values entered in the browser, depending on the tool.
Output
A result shown in the browser that can be reviewed or copied where supported.
Limitations
  • Canvas export does not preserve animation or all metadata/color profiles.
  • Batch aspect-preserved heights follow each file's original ratio; a single displayed preview is not proof of all output dimensions.
Privacy and data handling

Inputs for this browser-side tool are processed locally and are not sent to SiteIndex. Normal page analytics may still be collected as described in the Privacy Policy. Read the Privacy Policy.

How to use it

  1. Choose supported PNG, JPEG, or WebP files.
  2. Set dimensions, aspect preservation, scaling, output format, and quality.
  3. Select Download resized images and inspect the exported dimensions; browsers may ask permission for multiple downloads.
