The SiteIndex Website Score is a diagnostic summary of publicly observable SEO, performance, security, accessibility, and technical signals. It is not a Google ranking score.

Step by step

1. Open Website Score and enter a public HTTP or HTTPS URL.
2. Review the overall score and category scores.
3. Open failed and warning checks for specific recommendations.
4. Fix the highest-impact issues, then run a new analysis.

Technical details

• The analyzer checks one public page plus limited same-site robots.txt and sitemap resources. It applies category weights described in the methodology.

Common mistakes

• Treating the score as a certification.
• Assuming one page represents an entire site.
• Ignoring the explanation behind a category score.

Limitations

• It does not crawl an entire site, run a real-user performance study, or assess business content quality.
