Remove PDF Pages Documentation

Use the free Remove PDF Pages →

Remove selected pages from a PDF without uploading the file.

What does it do?

Remove selected pages from a PDF without uploading the file.

How does it work?

The browser loads a PDF with pdf-lib, parses one-based page numbers or ranges to remove, and copies the remaining pages into a new document in their original order.

When to use it
  • Remove a blank scan page.
  • Create a shortened copy of a report without changing the original.
Inputs and outputs
Input
Text, files, or values entered in the browser, depending on the tool.
Output
A result shown in the browser that can be reviewed or copied where supported.
Limitations
  • Encrypted, malformed, or unsupported PDFs may not load. Removing pages does not securely redact content embedded elsewhere.
  • Document-level forms, signatures, bookmarks, or metadata may not survive page copying. Verify the exported PDF.
Privacy and data handling

How to use it

  1. Choose a readable PDF.
  2. Enter pages to remove, such as 1,3-5, leaving at least one page.
  3. Select Remove and download; inspect the remaining pages before discarding the original.
